Hundreds of families attend Club for Boys family nights throughout the year

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Fall is finally here, which means the Club for Boys family nights are back!

“Family nights are full of fun and laughter for every member of our boy’s family,” explained Chantel McDonnell, Director of Special Projects. “We offer a night for the family to spend time together playing a wide variety of games and activities as well as eating a nice meal together and sometimes winning fun prizes. Family time is important to our organization and we are happy to offer this opportunity to our members and their families.”

The Club for Boys hosts family nights once a month, except November and December due to the holidays.

A different theme is picked for each family night.

Themes vary from Superbowl, to Medieval and Halloween. In 2017, Halloween was the largest family night, and over 500 people attended in fun costumes.

Family nights are held from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on the last Friday of each month during the school year.

Staff and volunteers look forward to these events every year because they get to meet many families for the first time.

The Club for Boys September Family Night takes place this Friday, Sept. 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The theme for this event is an open house for families to come down and meet new staff and see what their boys are doing throughout the days.

Each room will be hosting their favorite fall activities.

In junction with our open house theme, our live drawing for our Annual Car Raffle will be taking place.

This year the winner of the Raffle will receive a 3-year lease on a New 2018 Nissan Rogue or $10,000 cash!

Please come down and check out our open house and see who will be our lucky winner of the Car Raffle!
