How much longer will the above average temperatures stick around?
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Let’s check out what the weather will be like as we head into the third week of January.
This week will be slightly closer average in terms of temperature. The above average temps will return by the end of the week. Though, they might not stick around for too much longer. The 6 – 10 day outlook is showing some signs of a pattern change for the next couple weeks.
Will we get any precipitation?
There are a few chances for some light precipitation throughout the week. The main chances will be on Monday and Tuesday night, but we could see some showers towards the end of the week.
Will it be windy?
The wind won’t be too bad this week. Friday will be a little breezy, but still not too bad.
What should I wear?
Fall attire should be appropriate this week, but if you plan on going out at night, you might want to wear a heavier jacket.
This will be another nice weekend. Temperatures in the 40’s and not much is expected for precipitation. So, get out and enjoy the weather before it starts to feel like winter again!
