Boys Soccer Playoffs

The high school soccer playoffs kicked off on Tuesday across the state.

The Rapid City Stevens boys defeated Douglas – Rapid City Christian in the opening round, 12-0.

Sophomore Zack Williams set a school record by scoring six goals in one match.

The Raiders now advance to play Sioux Falls Washington on Saturday in the quarterfinals.

Girls Soccer Playoffs

Rapid City Central defeated Pierre in the opening round of the Class AA girls soccer playoffs, 5-0.

Morgan Sullivan and Keyera Harmon each scored two goals for the Cobblers.

Central will now play Rapid City Stevens on Saturday, Oct. 10 in the quarterfinals.

The Raiders rolled over Yankton, 7-1.
