High School Soccer Playoffs: RC Stevens boys, girls advance to semifinals

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The high school soccer playoffs continued on Saturday with the Class AA quarterfinals.

The Rapid City Stevens girls eliminated Rapid City Central from the postseason with a 3-1 win over the Cobblers.

Meanwhile, Sioux Falls Roosevelt upset No. 2 Harrisburg, 2-1 in overtime.

So the Stevens girls will host Roosevelt on Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the semifinals.

Boys Soccer

The Rapid City Stevens boys soccer team is also moving on the semifinals after the Raiders knocked off Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Saturday, 3-1.

Zack Williams scored two goals to lead the Raiders.

Williams now has 23 goals on the season which is a new school record.

The Stevens boys will also host Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Tuesday, Oct. 13 with the winner advancing to the state championship match on Oct. 17.
