High School Football scores and highlights: Cobblers fall to top-ranked Brandon Valley

 

RAPID CITY, S.D. – It’s been a disappointing start to the season for the Rapid City Central football team.

The Cobblers have lost their first three games by a combined 15 points.

Central had another chance to crack the win column on Friday night.

Unfortunately, the Cobblers lost to top-ranked Brandon Valley Lynx 48-6. The game was called with 2:48 left in the game do to lightning.

The Lynx led 48-0 until Central scored in the fourth quarter.

Lane Darrow threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Amarion Sailer.

The Cobblers fall to 0-4 and will travel to Sioux Falls on Sept. 27 to play the O’Gorman Knights.

 

St. Thomas More 46, Spearfish 0

St. Thomas More defeated Spearfish, 46-0 on Friday night.

St. Thomas More shut out Spearfish on Friday night in high school football, 46-0.

Ryder Kirsch threw four touchdown passes to Grant Huber. Plus, Ryan Wojcik had an 11-yard touchdown run.

St. Thomas More improves to 4-1, while Spearfish falls to 0-4.

However, that was the halftime score. Belle Fourche won the game 27-24.
