High School Football Recap: St. Thomas More waltzes over Douglas

BOX ELDER, S.D. – It’s crunch time in high school football.

With just a few weeks left in the regular season, teams around the region are busy fighting for playoffs positions.

St. Thomas More is currently ninth in the Class 11B standings.

But the Cavaliers are hoping to move into the top eight in order to host a first round playoff game.

St. Thomas More won its fourth straight game on Friday night.

The Cavaliers defeated the Douglas Patriots, 45-18.

St. Thomas More is now 5-1 on the season, while Douglas falls to 1-5.
