High School Football Recap: Central rallies in the second half to beat Stevens

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Central and Rapid City Stevens renewed their long-standing rivalry Friday night in high school football.

Stevens jumped out to a nine point lead at halftime, 21-12.

But the Cobblers outscored the Raiders 20-7 in the second half and went on to win 32-28.

Central is now 1-5 on the season and Stevens is 0-6.

The Cobblers travel to Howard Wood Field on Friday, Oct. 9 to play Sioux Falls Roosevelt.

The Raiders will host Aberdeen Central on Oct. 9.

It marked the 58th meeting between these two teams dating back to 1969.

Stevens leads the all-time series, 30-28.
