Here was the turnout for this year’s Holiday Marketplace Pop Up at The Monument
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The fifth annual Holiday Marketplace Pop Up was held on Saturday, December 10 at The Monument.
What is the Holiday Marketplace Pop Up?
The marketplace is an annual event that helps support small and local businesses.
What was there?
The day started off with breakfast where kids could come in and have a meal with the Grinch. This year, there were 120 vendors that participated, showing off their handmade crafts, candies and clothing.
“We bring in 120 small businesses to set up for shopping. We bring in the Grinch, got breakfast going with him. It’s a really fun community event,” said Rachelle White, owner of RWhite Events.
When the marketplace started, there were only about 50 vendors, but with a ton of support from the community, it quickly grew into what it is now.
