Helicopter crash outside Hill City leaves 2 injured

HILL CITY, S.D — According to the Hill City Volunteer Fire Department, two people escaped a helicopter crash with just minor injuries Thursday afternoon just west of Hill City.

The Bell 206 helicopter, which is registered to an LLC out of Hawaii, is heavily damaged. The FAA preliminary report states that the helicopter crashed on landing.
