Hart Ranch hosts the Heaven and Hell golf tournament for charity

RAPID CITY, S.D. — For the past several years Hart Ranch has hosted the Heaven and Hell Tournament.

It gets its name from the varying difficulty of the course, the first 9 holes are fairly easy and the last 9 are very difficult.

The proceeds from the tournament go to WAVI, an organization dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence. This year 50 teams signed up for the tournament, totaling to 100 people. The minimum donation was $25 per person.

Each year Hart Ranch matches the funds raised by participants, so if $500 is donated by the golfers, the ranch gives a total of $1000 to WAVI.

Last year they raised $2000 and they hope to raise more this year. Winners of the tournament also receive a prize, which is Hart Ranch store credit.
