Hardrockers, Yellow Jackets cancel remainder of football season

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases, South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State have both decided to cancel the remainder of their 2020 football season.

The Hardrocker were slated to host the University of Nebraska – Kearney on Saturday, Nov.  and then close out the season against Black Hills State on Nov. 21.

Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets were set to host Chadron State on Nov. 14.

The Hardrockers were able to play four games this season and finish 2-2 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets lost to South Dakota Mines and Colorado Mesa in their two games this year.
