RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Firearms Association hosted the annual gun and knife show at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center this weekend.
Local and national vendors gathered to to sell guns, parts and ammunition. Gun enthusiasts were able to see a variety of brands and styles of silencers, locks, modifications and more.
Funds from the show will go towards funding the Rapid City Rifle Club’s youth shooting program, which supports 30 to 60 youths annually.
Manager of the club says that this weekend’s show brings unique items to the area.
“Old gun parts, older guns, old ammunition, a lot of things like that,” said manager Lee Rohrer. “Now granted, there are new guns here and some people are looking for that, but most of them are looking for those older things, older reloading equipment, things like that, that you can’t find anywhere else.”
