Grab a beer and a putter for the ninth annual Putt-N-Pub!
Putt-N-Pub
The Suzie Cappa Art Center and Black Hills Works Foundation are hosting an upcoming event, the ninth annual Putt-N-Pub on March 11.
The organization partners with some businesses in the downtown area, and they put together some mini golf holes. Teams of four will then putt their way around downtown Rapid City.
The event will last from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How can you get involved?
You can register a team of four through Eventbrite or you can go to the Black Hills Works website. Team registrations are $160.
Costumes are encouraged, and there will even be a best costume contest.
Black Hills Works Foundation Director of Engagement Carrie Moser says, “People have a lot of fun, and we’re very fortunate that this is the ninth year that we’ve done it. And we’ve had some teams that have participated every single year, which is pretty awesome.”
Where do the funds go?
“So the funds raised for this event go to support our Community Life Initiative,” Carrie explained. “So it supports our Special Olympics Storm athletes so that they can continue to participate in the sports that they love. It pays for the people that we support to go out and about in the community to enjoy things like Summer Nights, for example, Rush games, going to the rodeo, just having those life experiences where they’re able to go out and be included in the community and they absolutely love every minute of it.”
