Gov. Noem tests negative for COVID-19

PIERRE, S.D. — South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has tested negative for COVID-19, according to a tweet by the governor’s spokesman, Ian Fury.

Fury’s tweet states that Gov. Noem tested negative as recently as Tuesday night, and since then has not come into close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, including President Trump.

This announcement comes after President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump both tested positive for COVID-19 late Thursday night.
