Gov. Noem says 2020 budget will not be overhauled

PIERRE, S.D. — Governor Kristi Noem says this year’s state budget will not have to be overhauled after all.

She says tax revenues haven’t dropped as much as had been feared, adding the budget’s “in pretty good shape.”

But the governor warns the economic impact of COVID-19 could be felt for a long time.
