Gov. Noem preparing for State of the State Address
PIERRE, S.D. — On Tuesday, Governor Kristi Noem will deliver the annual State of the State Address. Among other topics, Noem will outline why she believes South Dakota is the best state in the country to own and operate a business.
In a video previewing the address on Tuesday, Gov. Noem was proud of the progress made across the state in 2019 without raising taxes and practicing responsible spending. Looking to the future, Gov. Noem welcomed prospective business owners to make an investment and do business in South Dakota.
Gov. Noem said South Dakota’s competitive tax environment and low governmental spending make the state an ideal place to do business.
“Whether you’ve owned and operated a business for four generations, or you’re looking to start or even relocate your current operation, I want my message to be crystal clear: South Dakota is open for business.”
NewsCenter1 will be bringing you a live report of the State of the State Address online and on MyTV. The address is scheduled to begin at noon Mountain time.
