Gov. Noem discusses Washington visit, trade deal with China

WASHINGTON D.C. — Governor Kristi Noem spoke with NewsCenter1 about her visit to see the historic signing of the trade deal with China.

Among her takeaways was the importance the move will have on agriculture in South Dakota.

“The purchase of agricultural products will help our soybeans, it’ll help our corn growers, our beef producers, our pork producers, and many many more. So, for our families in South Dakota who dealt with a difficult year last year, and the low commodity prices for several years, boy we’re looking forward to the markets rebounding and doing what we do best and that’s feed the world.”
