GIRLS GOLF: Hot Springs repeats as Region 4A golf champions

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Region 4A Girls Golf Tournament was held Tuesday at the Spearfish Canyon Golf Club.

The top three teams, along with the top 19 golfers, qualify for the State ‘A’ Tournament which is coming up June 7-8 in Spearfish.

Hot Springs repeated as the Region 4A champions.

The Bison won the title in 2019 because there was no region tournament in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Hot Springs finished with a total score of 399 followed by St. Thomas More with 411.

Jessi Schroeder from Hot Springs was the medalist after carding an 85.
