NEW UNDERWOOD, S.D. –  The New Underwood Tigers girls basketball team began postseason play on Tuesday night against the Lyman Raiders.

The Tigers rarely relented and the Raiders struggled to score, leading to a 56-29 win for New Underwood.

The Tigers improve to 18-3 while the Raiders wrap up the season with a 10-12 record.

New Underwood will now play Lower Brule in the Region 7B semifinals on Thursday, Feb. 21.

Lower Brule outlasted the Wall Eagles in the quarterfinals, 64-57.
