GF&P searching for suspected poachers in Central SD

BONESTEEL S.D. -The South Dakota Department of Game Fish and Parks is asking for the public’s help in tracking down suspected poachers.

On February 20, officers received a report of several deer that were found dead about 2 miles northwest of Bonesteel, a community just west of the Missouri River. Officers found four female Whitetail deer lined near the road. Authorities say the deer were shot on February 16 or 17th.

According to Game Fish and Parks, the deer were found lying within 200 yards of each other, three of the four deer were found lying within several feet of one another in a row.
