Gas prices on the rise, still less than this time last year
RAPID CITY, S.D. — Gas prices continue to climb, jumping more than five-cents in the past two weeks.
The national average price for regular gas now sits around $2.50 a gallon.
According to the Lundberg Survey, the ongoing rise in crude oil prices is behind the increase.
But prices at the pump are still less than what they were a year ago.
Lundberg predicts a few more pennies at the pump soon.
