CUSTER, S.D. — “Burn, Beetle! Burn!” The 2022 Burning Beetle Festival took place in Custer on Saturday.

Hundreds gathered to carry torches and march along the streets of Custer to Pageant Hill, where those torches helped ignite a massive beetle effigy! Check it out:
