Full Throttle Saloon Fire Investigation Begins
Mike Ballard, the owner of the Full Throttle Saloon destroyed by fire earlier this week says he has to process what happened before figuring out what the future holds. In a statement shared on the bar's Facebook page he says that walking the grounds following the tragedy is "simply devastating."
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will begin the scene investigation soon. Two dozen special agents and specialists were activated at the request of the South Dakota state fire Marshall’s office. The total loss of the full throttle saloon complex is estimated at $10 million. Ballard also says he is not endorsing any of the go fund me fundraising pages that are popping up.
