Full Throttle Saloon Fire determined as an accident

The cause of the Full Throttle Saloon fire was determined Monday as an accident.

The ATF National Response team say the investigation into what caused this fire has been determined "conclusively that the fire originated in the main part of the bar and has been determined to be accidental in nature."

The South Dakota State Fire Marshal Director Paul Merriman and ATF St. Paul Field Division Special Agent in Charge worked on scene for the nearly five days taking photos, inspecting evidence recovered from the scene, and conducting numerous interviews. The ATF National Response Team departed Sturgis on Monday.

Damage is estimated at $10 million.
