Freshman Impact scheduled at Camp Rapid

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The 2018 Freshman Impact program teaches students the consequences of bad decisions. It simulates a drunk driving accident complete with emergency lights and sirens, followed by a mock court hearing.

This year’s event will be Wednesday at Camp Rapid on West Main Street from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The public should be aware there is no emergency or community threat.

The program will include students from Central High School, Stevens High School, Rapid City High School and St. Thomas More High School.
