Free flu vaccination clinic in Pennington County

RAPID CITY, S.D. – This week, the Department of Health reported South Dakota’s first flu-related deathTo protect the health and welfare of residents in Pennington County, a free Influenza shot clinic will be held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

This clinic, provided by the Department of Health and Rapid City Pennington County Emergency Management, will be administered on a first come, first served basis to anyone who has not received the flu shot this flu season.

A consent form must be completed at the clinic. But if a parent/guardian is unable to accompany their child to the clinic, the child’s form can be completed and signed ahead of time.
