Four new Wyoming COVID-19 deaths, total cases surpass 8,000
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Tuesday, the Wyoming Department of Health reported four new coronavirus-related deaths in the state, one each in Albany, Fremont, Johnson, and Park Counties. The state’s death toll now stands at 61.
The department of health also reported 146 new conformed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 8,070.
An additional 125 people have recovered from the virus. the number of recoveries is 5,929.
There are currently 2,080 active cases in the state. That number is up 10 cases from Monday.
The following counties reported new cases:
- Campbell County – five
- Crook County – five
- Sheridan County – three
- Weston County – two
- Johnson County – one
