Four men wanted in connection to Pine Ridge homicide

PINE RIDGE, S.D. – Tribal police and federal officials are looking for four men wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred early Friday morning in Pine Ridge.

The Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and FBI are all investigating the death that occurred at a Pine Ridge residence.

Officials have identified the following as persons of interest they are attempting to locate for an interview:

  • Benjamin Lyndon Bacon-Wilson, 19, of Pine Ridge
  • Stan Lee Garnier, Jr., 24, of Porcupine
  • Alvin Gene Lebeau, 34, of Porcupine
  • Michael Jonathan Lebeau, Sr. , 35, of Porcupine

Information is also being sought for a vehicle of interest that may be associated with the homicide. Anyone with information on the individuals or vehicle is urged to contact OST dispatch at 605-867-5111.

According to OST DPS Police Chief Robert Ecoffey, the identify of the victim is not being released, pending notification to the victim’s family. Ecoffey says more information about the investigation will come from the FBI.
