Four lion cubs rescued from Ukraine
The cubs, one male and three females, were flown from Poland to an animal sanctuary in Minnesota earlier this week.
The rescue group, The International Fund for Animal Welfare, says the cubs were born during the war at breeding facilities in Ukraine and orphaned at just a few weeks old. The group says the cubs survived sporadic bombings and drone attacks while in the warzone.
Their new home has a specially designed habitat for lions, where they can live together in peace as a family.
