Former RC Central standout to join the SD Mines women’s basketball team

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Former Rapid City Central standout Juneau Jones is transferring to the South Dakota School of Mines to continue her college career and play women’s basketball for the Hardrockers.

Jones, a 5-foot-10 forward, is wrapping up her first year of women’s basketball at Casper College.

This season, she’s averaging 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

During her career at Central, Jones received numerous honors, was a team captain and was the team MVP as a senior.

While at the South Dakota School of Mines, Jones plans to pursue a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
