Flags at half-staff for former SD legislator Charles Welke

ChuckwelkelegPIERRE, S.D. — Governor Kristi Noem has ordered that flags at the State Capitol be flown at half-staff on Sunday, May 16 in honor of former South Dakota state legislator Charles “Chuck” Welke, who served as state senator from 2013 – 2014.

Welke passed away in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, May 11 at the age of 67.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at the Warner Gym in Warner, S.D.
