First All Nations St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates the diversity of the Rapid City community, heritage and roots

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Despite the cold temperatures, people still filled the streets in Downtown Rapid City for the first All Nations St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday. The family-friendly event celebrates the diversity of Rapid City’s community, heritage and roots.

Leading the parade was none other than Rapid City Rush’s Nugget in a green Cadillac.

After paying some small expenses, the proceeds from the parade will be donated to the Rush Foundation’s “Rush to Read” program.
