Firefighters control blaze in building surrounded by chemicals
The Rapid City Fire Department rushed to what could have been a dangerous situation Thursday afternoon.
Officials were called out to the 5400 hundred block of Old Folsom Road shortly after 2:30 p.m. for a fire at an industrial building. The fire broke out in a compressor at Deadwood Biofuels. Crews quickly put out the flames.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
