Fire spreads to house in Rapid Valley

UPDATE (2:50) — Authorities say that the fire started in the garage when gasoline that leaked from a vehicle caught fire. Some of the flames did spread into the home before the flames were contained. Crews are still on scene looking for any smaller fires that may have started.

No injuries have been reported from the incident.

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department is responding to a structure fire on Sprucewood Street.

Rapid City Fire Department’s Engine 7, Battalion 1 and Medic 7 are on the scene. A second alarm has been requested.

Pennington County Fire Service is also responding to the call.
