ENDANGERED MISSING ADVISORY: two children taken from Lake Andes by non-custodial parents

LAKE ANDES, S.D. — 5-year-old Bliss Bernie and 3-year-old Eloise Bernie were taken from Lake Andes on Saturday, March 20 at 4:00 p.m. by their non-custodial parents, Harley David Dodson and Jadebrei Ann Bernie, and are believed to be endangered.

Bliss is described as a Native American female, 40 lbs., 3’6″ tall, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was reportedly wearing a pink dress top, blue stretchy pants, and no shoes or coat.

Eloise is a Native American female, 30 lbs., 3’0″ tall, with brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing a dark blue, long-sleeved sweater with a unicorn, black pants, and no shoes or coat.

The suspects vehicle is a 2009 white Chevrolet Impala with South Dakota plates 17R-187.

Harley is a Native American male, age 25, 154 lbs., 5’8″ tall, with brown eyes and dark brown hair. He was reportedly wearing a white and gold long-sleeved shirt.

Jadebrei is a Native American female, age 25, 170 lbs., 5’4″ tall, with brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was wearing a black t-shirt and stretch pants.

The suspects may be trying to take the children to Texas, where Dodson has family.
