Ellsworth AFB lists B-1 flyovers for July 4 events

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. — Ellsworth Air Force Base will provide B-1 flyovers in support of several events on July 4.

Times and events include:

  • Custer – 10 a.m.
  • Piedmont – 10 a.m.
  • Belle Fourche – 10:30 a.m.
  • Hot Springs – 10:30 a.m.
  • Spearfish – noon

B-1 flyovers are allowed as part of approved training missions.

Residents living in and around the Black Hills could experience an increased noise level related to the flyover.
