RAPID CITY, S.D. — Elevate Rapid City has released its 2022 Legislative Scorecard, which shows the voting record for West River lawmakers on key business and community issues.

Elevate Rapid City used 16 bills for this year’s scorecard that the organization supported for economic growth. The organization says it’s meant to give voters more of a background of how their representatives and senators voted.

“It’s not intended to be political at all, it’s just a way to showcase, really. In our work with legislators, we let them know what our positions are and why, and then we just hope that they vote that way,” said Public Policy Director for Elevate Rapid City, Anna Hays.
