RAPID CITY, S.D. — A three-vehicle crash occurred late Wednesday in Rapid City and it happened shortly after the driver left the scene of a hit-and-run.

The chain reaction happened around 4:00 p.m. on Deadwood Avenue between the A&W restaurant and the intersection undergoing a makeover at Omaha.

Police say a silver GMC Yukon rear-ended a white Chevy Traverse, causing the Traverse to hit a Toyota pick-up.

No one was injured, but the driver of the Yukon who started it all has been arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Police say that same driver, on this same day, left the scene of accident on I-90, so he’ll also be charged in that hit-and-run.
