DOT: No travel advised on many Black Hills roadways

BLACK HILLS, S.D. — Many areas in the Northern Black Hills have been placed in a no travel advisory by the Department of Transportation.

Interstate 90 has been issued the advisory from about the Piedmont area all the way to the Wyoming border.

Officials warn drivers that the conditions on these roads may have less than a quarter mile of visibility, blowing snow, slippery roads, packed snow and deep slush. If you must travel on the roadways, be patient and reduce your speed.
