Defendant in Keystone manslaughter case arrested for third time one week after bond reinstated

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A local teen, charged with manslaughter, is back in jail after his bond was reinstated last week.

Maxton Pfeiffer, 18, is accused in the shooting death of Ty Scott, 19, which took place last June in Keystone.

According to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Pfeiffer was booked in the county jail for a 24/7 probation violation on Wednesday.

Pfeiffer was out on a ten-thousand dollar bond but then turned himself in last month when a warrant was issued for his arrest because of bond violations.
