DAV helps veterans file disability claims
RAPID CITY, S.D. – For America’s disabled veterans, filing disability claims can sometimes be lengthy and complicated. But one organization is aimed at simplifying things.
Rapid City’s Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization held a brats and burger feed Saturday to tell people about the services they provide. DAV leadership says there are resources to help people through with claims, right in their office. They can answer questions and guide you through the bureaucratic process.
Last year alone, the DAV processed a quarter of a million claims across the country.
For people who may have missed the informational session, their office is at 101 E. Madison St. You can also call at 605-348-5898.
