Crosstown Soccer: Stevens boys defeat Central, Girls teams battle to a draw

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Stevens boys soccer team has been on fire this season.

Not only are the Raiders undefeated, but they have outscored their opponents 38-2 in their first nine matches.

Stevens squared off against Rapid City Central on Tuesday for the second time this season.

The Raiders scored three runs in the first half and went on to be the Cobblers, 5-1.

Stevens improves to 10-0 on the season, while the Central falls to 6-4-1.

Girls Soccer

RC Central 3, RC Stevens 3

Rapid City Central and Stevens battled to a 3-3 draw on Tuesday in girls soccer.

The score was tied at 2-2 at halftime.

Makaen Degeest scored in the second half to give the Cobblers a 3-2 lead.

But in the final 10 minutes, Stevens scored to tie it up at three apiece and that’s how the match ended.

Stevens is now 8-1-1 on the season and Central is 6-1-3.
