Crews set up in Memorial Park for Hills Alive Music Festival

RAPID CITY, SD — This weekend tens of thousands of people will gather in Rapid City for the 34th Annual Hills Alive Festival.

The massive Christian music festival is this weekend at Memorial Park.

Crews are busy setting up at the park, which will be filled with vendors and stages. On Wednesday a crew of 8 people set up a dozen tents by the bandshell, setting up early to stay ahead of the weather.

“That way we’re for sure set everything’s ready to go,” says Hills Alive tent foreman Canska Cutschall, “The weather is always an issue that can slow you down,”

The free festival runs from Noon to 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
