Crews search for missing ice fisherman in Corson County

CORSON COUNTY, S.D. — On Wednesday, multiple agencies were searching for Clyde Oswald who went missing January 27 while ice fishing.

Crews from Central Divers, LLC, Codington County Search & Rescue, Brown County Search & Rescue, Pierre Fire & Rescue, and Pennington County/Rapid City Search & Rescue were all on scene to aid in the search for Clyde.

However, at 6 p.m. CST Wednesday, search efforts ceased. Despite an extensive search that has been ongoing since January 28, crews were unable to locate any sign of Clyde or his vehicle.

The search will resume when the ice melts and boats can be safely deployed to access areas that search crews have been unable to get to.
