COVID-19 confirmed cases exceed 200 in North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Health officials say the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in North Dakota now exceeds 200.

The North Dakota Department of Health said 21 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Sunday, raising North Dakota’s total to 207. Among the new cases is a boy under 10 years old in Stark County. Officials say he became infected from close contact with someone who already was infected.

Thirty-one people were hospitalized Sunday, up one from the day before. A total of 63 people have recovered from the virus. Three people have died in North Dakota from COVID-19.
