Counts Car Show kicking off this weekend

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Counts of the Cobblestone Car Club is hosting its 21st annual Counts Car Show at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center this weekend.

With dozens of classic cars and custom builds in three rooms of the Civic Center there’s a little something everyone — and the car show even has activities for the littlest of motorheads.

“Saturday from ten until we run out of them we have a make and take model contest for kids,” says Gary Kreun, car show chairman. “Saturday morning the first 500 kids through the door get a free hot wheel car and there’s a coloring contest for little kids Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.”

The Counts Car Show kicks off Friday evening at 5 p.m. with doors opening at 9 a.m. each morning over the weekend.
