Construction on I-90 scheduled for completion in May

MEADE COUNTY, S.D. — A stretch of Interstate-90 in Meade County will be narrower for a while.

The State Transportation Department has started work along the shoulder on I90-west, between exits 40 and 32. This work should be going on through the end of May.

Traffic will be down to one-lane while crews seal cracks and chips, and level the shoulder between Tilford Road and Pleasant Valley Road.

The overall completion of this $831,000 project is expected to wrap up September 18.
