Community Education of the Black Hills offers Winter/Spring classes

Community Education promotes life long learning.

A New Year could mean trying new things in 2019.

A great way learn about different activities is through Community Education of the Black Hills, which promotes lifelong learning.

The new winter/spring edition is out now. It provides unique and fun learning opportunities for West River community members.

The edition has 100 classes offered, including Spanish for beginners, fundamentals of knitting, beer 101 and yoga for healthy aging.

With many online opportunities for learning, these classes offer more of a hands-on approach.

Tammy Sellars, Community Education Director, says, “There is something to be said about an in-person class. That instructor, those people around you, to have access to that instructor in the classroom there to ask them a question, I mean that is a huge bonus. And what a great opportunity to learn from a talented group of people that we have here in the Black Hills. “
