Comedian Bob Saget found dead in hotel at 65

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office found Saget unresponsive in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando according to the Associated Press. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Saget rose to prominence in the 1980’s as a comedian in Los Angeles before going to on play Danny Tanner in the beloved series “Full House,” which ran for eight seasons. He then resumed his role for the Netflix reboot “Fuller House.” Saget was also the original host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” which first debuted in 1989.

The cause of his death is still under investigation, but no signs of foul play or drug use have been reported.
