Colorado man sentenced for trafficking meth in SD
RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Colorado man has been sentenced to 10 years for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine in South Dakota.
Schrum’s charge dates back to 2017 and 2018, when Schrum and another person transported at least 500 grams of meth from Colorado, distributing it in western South Dakota. John Schrum, 47, of Greeley, Colorado was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison to be followed by five years of supervised release.
The case of Schrum’s co-conspirator is still pending.
